City of Alden issued the following announcement on Oct. 14.
The burning of dry leaves (no garbage) will be allowed in the City of Alden the months of October and November, unless other restrictions are imposed by the County or State, then those restrictions must be followed. HOURS are 8 A.M. to 8 P.M. Burning is not allowed on streets or roadways. No burning within five feet of property lines. A responsible person must be on hand during burning. By order of Alden City Council.
