City of Albert Lea issued the following announcement on Nov. 25.
All aboard!! The 2019 Shop Albert Lea Passport Tour begins November 30. Did you know each time you choose to shop local it positively impacts our community? We hope you'll a grab a passport, meet the folks who are investing in our community, and make positive change by shopping Albert Lea!

The Small Business Saturday Passport Tour officially starts on Saturday, November 30. Pick up a passport from 9 - 11 a.m. (Enjoy free cider and cookies!)
**Jump on the Shop Albert Lea (and Freeborn County) movement and visit as many stores in the passport as you can by December 12 (Holiday Bazaar on Broadway) for a chance to win $100, $75, or $50 in Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce Chamber Bucks!!! The more stamps you receive in your passport, the more chances you have to win.
**Join the Shop Albert Lea Facebook group to get the skinny on Small Business Saturday specials happening at local businesses, as well as business events and promotions.
**No purchase necessary to win. One passport per person. For every store visited, your name will be entered in a drawing for first, second, or third place prizes. Each store you visit that is listed in the passport will place a special mark indicating your participation. This event is brought to you by Albert Lea Economic Development Agency and the Albert Lea Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce.
**Passports can be picked up during regular business hours at the Chamber Headquarters 132 N Broadway following the kick-off party. Final passport checks can be done at the Chamber Headquarters at any time before December 12. One last chance will be given to community members to get punches at the Holiday Bazaar, Thursday Dec 12, 4-7 pm.
