City of Alden issued the following announcement on Jan. 21.
Residents, please help keep the city fire hydrants free of snow. You would not want firefighters spending valuable time finding a hydrant when your house is on fire. Clear 3 feet around your hydrant and shovel a path to it from the street. Thanks for your help!
