City of Albert Lea issued the following announcement on Feb. 18.
Please join us on Thursday, February 27th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Wedgewood Cove for the presentation of the completed Economic Development Strategic Plan and Implementation Map. Staff and board members from all partners involved in the project will be there to present the plan, the data behind it, and the action steps the partners will collaborate on to complete over the next several years. Staff and board members will also be available to answer questions about the plan and the goals and action steps laid out in the implementation map. This is a public event for all residents, community members, and stakeholders in Freeborn County to attend.
The plan and map are available to view online at www.growalbertlea.com in the “Recent News” section and on the home page.
