City of Blue Earth issued the following announcement on Feb. 18.
Highway 169 will be closed from East 14th Street to the Ag Center beginning on Tuesday, January 18 through Thursday, January 20 for repairs to the railroad bridge. The posted detour will utilize East 14th Street, South Rice Street and East 7th Street.
This is a Union Pacific project on a MnDOT highway. Please note that 14th Street, South Rice Street and 7th Street are all county state aid highways and are under the county’s jurisdiction.
