City of Courtland issued the following announcement on Feb. 25.
Are you ready for the Presidential Primary on March 3rd? This election is unlike any other election Minnesota. A few things you need to know;
• You must declare your political party choice! If you do not declare a party, you will not be issued a ballot.
• Your political party choices will be recorded and disclosed to the chairs of each major party, although who you vote for will remain secret.
• Make sure to declare the correct political party choice when you sign the roster. Once you have declared your political party choice and you have received your ballot, you may not change your mind.
