City of Arlington issued the following announcement on Feb. 25.
We are excited to announce that Andrea Harbarth from Gaylord has been selected as the 2020 Cancer Cruise recipient! Andrea is currently battling stage 4 colorectal cancer, but still continues to be very involved in her church as well as other community organizations. When Andrea was diagnosed, she was in the midst of opening her own daycare. All of the funds raised through the Cancer Cruise will be used to pay for Andrea’s medical expenses.
Please check out the poster for details on the 2020 event, we’ve added a lot of new things this year, that we are really excited about! Our main events will be held at the Arlington Community Center from 11 AM-4 PM this year. We’ve added a Vendor Fair, a Silent Auction, a Bake Sale (thanks to the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Green Isle!), as well as music by Jake Nelson, one of the artists featured at Winstock this year!
