City of Alden issued the following announcement on March 12
All public programming at the Alden Ewell Free Library is suspended until further notice, including the April 11 Easter Egg Hunt. We apologize for the inconvenience. The decision to cancel library programs was made in support of the current initiatives suggested by the Erie County Health Department Commissioner and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in an effort to reduce public exposure to the COVID-19 virus. The Library remains open. Check our website for any updates at: www.BuffaloLib.org.
