Brad Arends was recently recognized as the recipient of the Albert Lea 2020 Citizen of the Year award.
The award is meant to recognized individual efforts and contributions toward their community. The head of Save Our Hospital organization has been on the front seat to improve the community and to contribute positively to its growth.
Albert Lea Citizen of the Year Committee made this decision based on the merits and determination of Arends. Other than the award, Arends has been congratulated by many people, and among them is Rep. Peggy Bennett.
In her Facebook post, Bennett posted a link to Albert Lea Tribune, which published the story.
"Congratulations to Brad Arends for being selected Albert Lea 2020 Citizen of the Year," Bennett wrote.
Bennett has spoken on the importance of positive contributions and her desire for an improved community.
