Albert Lea Area Learning Center recently issued the following announcement.
Have you ever wished you could save money and be able to work on your own car to keep it running well? We’ll virtually cover the major components of a car and talk about basic maintenance (changing oil, rotating tires, etc.), we’ll cover common things that go wrong that the average person can repair, and we’ll talk about things that are easy to do yourself and save hundreds of dollars.
This class is meant for somebody with some basic tools who won’t mind getting their hands a little dirty. Because of the wide variety of vehicles, we will stick to common components, but not get lost in the weeds of the many variations that you might find in different vehicles. And of course, we’ll talk basic safety.
Instructor Brad Kramer is not a mechanic, but has always worked on his own vehicles, taught his children to do the same, and has always had a knack for figuring out how to fix anything.
