City of Blue Earth issued the following announcement on May 7.
Good News! The Blue Earth City Council voted on Monday, May 4 to remove the barricades from the playground equipment and picnic shelters at City parks. Over the next two days the shelters and playground equipment will be power-washed and disinfected. This is a standard procedure each year for our parks and shelters and does not remove the need for social distancing at this time. Please be respectful of others while using these facilities and have fun!
Unfortunately we are still waiting for the replacement spiral slide at Putnam Park. The slide is being replaced under warranty and has not arrived. The slide is blocked from access until it is replaced.
