City Of Albert Lea recently issued the following announcement.
Neighborhood Improvement Overlay Project – A preconstruction meeting was held this week to discuss this project. The set a tentative start date of June 15th.
James Avenue Reconstruction – Last week the contractor (Ulland Brothers Inc.) removed the existing pavement, curb & gutter and driveway approaches. This week they will begin setting up the temporary water pipe that will serve the properties during the watermain replacement. Once this is complete and it has passed the necessary bacteria tests, it will be put into service and underground utility replacement will begin (likely early next week)
