City of Blue Earth issued the following announcement on May 13.
Good News! the Blue Earth City Council last night voted to remove the barricades from the playground equipment and picnic shelters at the City parks. Over the next two days, the shelters and playground equipment will be power-washed and disinfected. This is a standard procedure each year for our parks and shelters and does not remove the need for social distancing. Please be respectful of others using these facilities and have fun!
*Unfortunately, we are STILL waiting for the replacement spiral slide at Putnam Park. This slide is being replaced under warranty and has not arrived. The slide is blocked from access until replaced.
