City of Alden issued the following announcement on May 14.
Due to the current pandemic and resultant social distancing guidelines, the Town Line Volunteer Fire Department has regretfully cancelled this year's public Memorial Day Service.
However, since it is still of utmost importance to pay tribute to the brave men and women who lost their lives defending our freedoms, we are in the process of creating a shortened video service which we will share on our website and social media pages on Memorial Day morning. We invite you to join us in remembrance and prayer to honor our heroes.
Thank you for your understanding. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you at next year's service.
