30 percent of Martin Luther College students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 30 percent of Martin Luther College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Martin Luther College has 885 undergraduate students, of which 51 percent are women and 49 percent are men, and a total student body of 972 students. Of these students, 166 men and 126 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Martin Luther College with the most participants are football (52), soccer (51) and track and field, outdoor (42).
