Of the 270 people living in Searles in 2019, 45.6 percent (123) were women and 54.4 percent (147) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SC Minnesota News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 73-to-70. In the 65 and over age range, there were 19 females and 58 males.
