Nicollet County ranked 26th in Minnesota for resident earnings in 2019

Nicollet County ranked 26th among counties in Minnesota by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Nicollet County residents was $33,167 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 12,885 households with a population of 33,954.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Carver County with $45,984 per year after adjusting for inflation – $12,817 more than Nicollet County. It had 36,754 households with a population of 101,949.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Lake of the Woods County with $24,131 per year after adjusting for inflation – $9,036 less than Nicollet County. It had 1,470 households with a population of 3,771.
