This Minnesota Food Licensing Overview will include:

• Types of Food Licenses from the MN Department of Agriculture
• Retail Food Businesses
• Wholesale Food Processors/Manufacturers
• Cottage Food Law
• Food licensing with other regulatory agencies
Jodie Burke is currently the Licensing Liaison for the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) Food and Feed Safety division, providing food licensing expertise to the public, industry, and regulatory partners. Her career with the MDA began in 2016 as a retail food inspector. Prior to that she inspected food, beverage, and lodging establishments in Winona County, and served as a food safety/HACCP auditor for Reinhart FoodService. She lives in Winona, MN with her husband, three children, and dog.
