The City of Elysian will be accepting applications for the position of Public Works Worker – Part Time / On Call. The part time Public Works Worker position performs routine maintenance work of City streets, parks, equipment and buildings. This position may be up to 30 hours per week depending on workload and will include some weekends and evenings. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a valid Minnesota Class “D” driver’s license. Must be proficient in operations of snow removal and lawn equipment to the satisfaction of the Public Works Supervisor. This position is subject to a background check. The salary is $14.00 per hour. This position is eligible for the accrual of (2) two hours vacation leave per month.
Applications may be picked up at Elysian City Hall, 110 Main Street West between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday – Friday. Applications are also available on the city webpage at www.elysianmn.com Applications will be accepted until October 7, 2022, at 4:30 pm.
