The Registry shows seven sex offenders living in Steele County in March

There was the same number of registered sex offenders living in Steele County in March compared to the previous month, according to the Minnesota Public Registrant Search.

There are seven sex offenders registered in Steele County in March.

The Registry shows none of these sex offenders are sexual predators. In Minnesota, convicted predatory offenders also are subject to certain mandatory sentencing laws that are designed to minimize their chances to re-offend.

Minnesota legislation about sex offenders and predators is currently being evaluated and revised, such as if offenders with good behavior can be removed from the Registry.

Sean Patrick McKeeCriminal sexual conduct in the third degreeSean Mckee engaged in sexual contact with a known, teenage female on multiple occasions. Contact included penetration. Mckee used attention and affection to attain and exploit unmonitored access.
Richard Dean Paquin IICriminal sexual conduct in the first degree, criminal sexual conduct in the third degreeRichard Paquin engaged in sexual conduct and contact with a known male child on multiple occasions over an extended period of time. Conduct included showing victim pornographic material. Contact included sexual touching and penetration. Paquin provided him with intoxicants.
Benjamin Robert DrabekCriminal sexual conduct in the third degreeBenjamin Drabek engaged in sexual contact with a known, teen-aged female. Contact included penetration. Drabeck used attention and affection to attain and exploit unmonitored contact.
Benny LedesmaCriminal sexual conduct in the second degree, false imprisonmentBenny Ledesma engaged in sexual contact with an unknown female teenager and held her against her will. Contact included sexual touching. Ledesma gained access to victim by approaching her in a public setting and grabbing her by the neck. Ledesma also robbed victim.
