78% of Brown County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 25,894 citizens living in Brown County in 2021, 78% were old enough to vote, equating to 20,198 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 9,963 were male, constituting 49.3%, and 10,235 were female, making up 50.7%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Brown County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 76.7%.
