Registered sex offenders: 3 living in Blue Earth County as of Q4 2023

There was the same number of registered sex offenders living in Blue Earth County as of the fourth quarter of 2023 compared to the previous quarter, according to the Minnesota Public Registrant Search.

There were three sex offenders registered in Blue Earth County as of the fourth quarter of 2023.

The Registry shows one of these sex offender is sexual predator. In Minnesota, convicted predatory offenders also are subject to certain mandatory sentencing laws that are designed to minimize their chances to re-offend.

Minnesota legislation about sex offenders and predators is currently being evaluated and revised, such as if offenders with good behavior can be removed from the Registry.

Contact included sexual touching and penetration. Curry has used threats and his position of authority to gain compliance.
