There was the same number of registered sex offenders living in Freeborn County in March compared to the previous month, according to the Minnesota Public Registrant Search.

There are nine sex offenders registered in Freeborn County in March.

The Registry shows none of these sex offenders are sexual predators. In Minnesota, convicted predatory offenders also are subject to certain mandatory sentencing laws that are designed to minimize their chances to re-offend.

Minnesota legislation about sex offenders and predators is currently being evaluated and revised, such as if offenders with good behavior can be removed from the Registry.

Paul Arthur Berg	Criminal sexual conduct in the second degree	Paul Berg engaged in sexual contact with two known female children. Contact included sexual touching. On a separate occasion, Berg engaged in sexual conduct with an unknown female teenager. Conduct included solicitation. Berg gained access by approaching her in public.
Tai Lars Stadheim	Criminal sexual conduct in the second degree	Tai Stadheim engaged in sexual contact with a known female child on multiple occasions. Contact included sexually touching. Stadheim used manipulation to gain compliance.
Brooks Daniel Fisher	Criminal sexual conduct in the first degree	Offender engaged in sexual contact with an adult female victim. Contact included penetration. Force and weapons were used to gain compliance. Offender gained access to victim by entering her place of employment during the commission of an armed robbery. Offender was not known to victim. Offender also committed an armed robbery at a separate business and held employees against their will at gunpoint.
Lorenzo Martin Torres	Criminal sexual conduct in the second degree, criminal sexual conduct in the third degree (2 counts)	Lorenzo Torres has a history of sexual contact with known female teenagers. Contact has included sexual touching and penetration.
Richard Villarreal	Criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree, criminal sexual conduct in the second degree	Richard Villarreal has a history of engaging in sexual contact with known female children and teenagers. Contact included sexual touching and penetration.
Craig Allen Bolte	Criminal sexual conduct in the second degree	As a juvenile,Craig Bolte engaged in sexual conduct and contact against a known female child on numerous occasions over an extended period of time. Contact included sexual touching and penetration. Bolte used his relationship to exploit unmonitored access.
Jabar Pedro Morarend	Criminal sexual conduct in the first degree	Jabar Morarend engaged in sexual contact with an unknown adult female. Contact included penetration. Morarend gained access by entering her home without permission. Force, threats, and a weapon were used to gain compliance.
Jason Michael Sokolofsky	Criminal sexual conduct in the third degree, criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree	Jason Sokolofsky (at the age of 25) engaged in sexual contact with a known female teenager. Contact included penetration. Sokolofsky took advantage of victim's vulnerable state to gain compliance.
Everett Raymond Nordwall	Criminal sexual conduct in the second degree	Everett Nordwall engaged in sexual contact with known and unknown female children. Contacts included sexual touching. Nordwall gained access to the children in a public area.
