On Monday, March 24, former St. Mary's High School standout Madison Mathiowetz’s current collegiate team the South Dakota State Jackrabbits lost 91-57 against the UConn Huskies in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Harry A. Gampel Pavilion, this was the first game against the UConn Huskies during the championship.

Madison Mathiowetz’s hometown is Sleepy Eye and game position is guard.
