Louis Magers and Tanner Shumski, former Mankato West High School standouts, played on Wednesday, April 23 in NCAA Division II baseball game

Louis Magers and Tanner Shumski

On Wednesday, April 23, former Mankato West High School standouts Louis Magers and Tanner Shumski’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks, won 6-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Concordia Golden Bears.

The game took place at Bowyer Field. This was their second matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 1:30 p.m. at Ronken Field against Augustana Vikings.
