Minnesota State Representative Erica Schwartz has extended holiday greetings to her constituents in District 18A as spring arrives in the region. In a message shared with residents, Schwartz noted the change in seasons and expressed appreciation for the renewed energy brought by longer days and warmer weather.
Schwartz highlighted recent interactions with community members during her time back in the district, emphasizing that these conversations inform her work at the Capitol. She stated her commitment to pursuing practical solutions for Minnesotans, saying there is still significant work ahead this legislative session.
“As we enter this special season marked by both Easter and Passover, I want to take a moment to share in the spirit of reflection, renewal, and gratitude that these holidays bring,” Schwartz wrote.
She reflected on the meaning of both holidays: “Easter reminds us of the hope and redemption found through faith—that even in our darkest moments, there is the promise of new life. Passover speaks to liberation and perseverance, the story of a people guided by faith and delivered from hardship. Both holidays are powerful testaments to resilience, grace, and the enduring strength of the human spirit.”
Schwartz encouraged residents to pause amid busy schedules to appreciate blessings and renew their commitment to service. “In our busy lives, it can be easy to lose sight of the deeper meaning of these moments. But this season calls us to pause, to give thanks for the blessings we’ve been given, and to recommit ourselves to serving others with love and compassion.”
She also thanked constituents for allowing her to serve as their representative. “As your representative, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve such a thoughtful and resilient community. Your voices and values inspire me every day.”
Schwartz concluded her message by inviting ongoing communication from residents regarding legislative matters or concerns. She said she looks forward to continued collaboration aimed at improving Minnesota.
“Whether you're celebrating around a Seder table or gathering for an Easter meal, I wish you and your family peace, joy, and renewed hope in the days ahead!
As we welcome the new season and all the fresh starts it brings, I want to remind you that my door is always open. Your thoughts, concerns, and ideas are incredibly important—they help guide the work I do on your behalf at the Capitol.
Whether you have a question about a specific bill, want to share feedback, or are just looking to stay informed, don’t hesitate to reach out. My office is here for you, and I’m always happy to listen.
It’s a true honor to represent District 18A, and as we move into this season of growth and renewal, I look forward to continuing our work together to make Minnesota a better place for all.
Wishing you a joyful and hope-filled spring!”
